Don Juan Climbing Rose is one of the most well known fragrant£¬ dark red climbing roses. Don Juan is a proven performer that produces large buds on new and old wood£¬ and shapely blossoms atop of glossy dark green leaves. Each offer includes one dormant bare root 1.5 grade rose. Plant can climb to 14 feet tall when supported on a trellis or arbor. Has approximately 30 to 35 petal per flower that open after oviod buds. Introduced in 1958 by Jackson and Perkins company. Botanical name: Rosa don juan. Hardy in USDA zones 5 to 9. In colder zones some winter protection of the roots is advised.
